Handled With Care Massage Therapy
Client-centered, results-oriented therapy - Matt Schaub, LMT
About the Therapists

Matt Schaub, LMT

Graduated from the Center of Advanced Therapeutics in Denver, CO

When people ask me why I decided to open my own practice, I tell them about the number one complaint I've heard from new clients over the years - they are frustrated when they go for a massage and tell the therapist they have specific and/or chronic pain then they proceed to get a Swedish massage with a little extra attention paid to the problem area.

It is my goal at Handled With Care to provide client-centered, results-oriented therapy to people who need massage in Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Westminster, Denver, Lakewood, Golden, Boulder and surrounding areas.

I've done continuing education with Til Luchau from Advanced Trainings, gaining certification in intraoral release for TMJD, and with Erik Dalton and the Freedom From Pain Institute, studying myoskeletal and myofascial release.

A little about me: I grew up overseas, my parents were in international education - spent more time in airports/airplanes growing up than I could possibly compile.  I am still passionate about travel, but haven't had as much time lately.  I try not to take myself too seriously, after all, life is short.

Free time is consumed by time with friends, cooking/eating good food, hiking, reading...oh, and did I mention food?   :)

Sara Schaub, LMT

Hi, my name is Sara and I am excited to be part of the team at Handled With Care! As many of you know, Matt and I went to massage school together, long before we were married. After having taken some time away from massage to pursue my nursing career, I am excited to be back at it, helping your body give you its best! I am certified in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sport and Pre-natal* modalities.

Just like Matt, I am passionate about food, travel, and healing. I also practice yoga regularly and that has given me a different insight into how our muscles work. I look forward to helping you feel the best that you can!

*What is prenatal massage?

Prenatal massage is intended to provide relaxation and relief from MINOR aches and pains associated with pregnancy. Please note that deep tissue massage is not recommended during pregnancy due to the risk of blood clots. All prenatal clients must be under the care of a licensed prenatal medical provider (MD, NP, PA, DO), and have signed permission from the provider in order to receive prenatal massage.
